
About the Columnist
Warren Hammer, DC, MS, DABCO, has been in practice in Norwalk, Conn., for the past 50 years. He has studied numerous soft-tissue methods and applies them to the practice of chiropractic. He has lectured nationally and internationally and recently completed his third edition of Functional Soft-Tissue Examination and Treatment by Manual Methods, available from Jones & Bartlett publishers. He is also the English language editor for Functional Atlas of the Human Fascial System, by Carla Stecco, MD, Elsevier, 2015.
In addition to authoring a regular column for Dynamic Chiropractic, he has written articles for prominent journals such as Chiropractic Sports Medicine, Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Chiropractic Technique and Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies.
He has spent time in Italy learning fascial manipulation (FM) and has observed Luigi Stecco, PT, in his clinic. In 2011 he has assisted Antonio Stecco, MD, in presenting FM in the U.S..
