NYCC President's Contract Renewed and Term Extended

New York Chiropractic College (NYCC)'s President Dr. Kenneth Padgett, unanimously elected to the position in 1989, has accepted a new five-year contract which will extend his presidency through 1997. The NYCC board of trustees voted both to renew and extend the contract.

Before serving in his current position, Dr. Padgett had a practice in Seneca County for 35 years. Dr. Padgett is past president of both the New York State Chiropractic Association and the ACA.


New Chairman for NYCC Board of Trustees

Dr. Edwin M. Kenrick is the new chairman of NYCC's board of trustees. A trustee since 1988, Dr. Kenrick has served as a member of the committees on trustees, international affairs, and facilities.

He chaired the long-range planning committee for NYCC, and was instrumental in overseeing the construction of the college's new 286 acre campus in Seneca Falls, New York. NYCC was established in 1919, and moved to upstate New York in 1991.

Dr. Kenrick is a former trustee of the FCER, and has been in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Kenrick was the first president of the ACA to serve two terms (1980-82), and also sat on its board of governors. He was given the ACA's ultimate honor in 1988, "Chiropractor of the Year."
