A Call for Papers -- Consortium for Chiropractic Research

The Consortium for Chiropractic Research has announced a call for papers for presentation at the Seventh Annual Conference on Research and Education (CORE) June 19-21, in Palm Springs, California.

The CCR is interested in papers for platform or poster presentation on the following subjects:

  • Evaluation of chiropractic treatment procedures

     

  • Evaluation of chiropractic diagnostic procedures

     

  • Issues in chiropractic education

     

  • Issues in chiropractic clinical practice

     

  • Spinal anatomy and physiology

     

  • Assessment of adjustive techniques

     

  • Chiropractic professional issues

     

  • Chiropractic standards of care

The CCR gives preference to high quality reports of original research but scholarly reviews and essays will be considered. Abstracts will be published in the proceedings prior to the meeting.

Abstracts should be no longer than 1,000 words and are submitted to the program chair just before the meeting. The original must be submitted along with five copies, plus a brief biography. The abstract should include: the significance of the topic; the hypotheses; questions addressed; methods of data collection; and results and conclusions. Indicate whether platform or poster presentation is preferred.

Deadline for mailing abstracts is March 30, 1992.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee and authors will be notified of their decision by April 15, 1992.
