1999 World Chiropractic Congress Set for New Zealand

An international group of 600 chiropractors will meet in Auckland, New Zealand May 18-22 at the new Sky City Conference Center for the 5th World Federation of Chiropractic Congress.

This unique event will feature top-flight speakers, innovative workshops and superb entertainment. The theme of the congress is "traditional and new approaches to chiropractic practice." Sponsors of the event are the World Federation of Chiropractic, the World Health Organization, the Chiropractors Association of Australia, and the New Zealand Chiropractors Association.

The Auckland meeting will be a forum for the exchange of ideas, offering attendees a chance to "rub shoulders" with DCs from around the world. The conference will also provide a launching platform for original research and offer top-flight seminars.

Conference topics will include:

  • subluxation science;

     

  • role of subluxation in chiropractic;

     

  • physiological and other effects of the adjustment;

     

  • examination and adjusting techniques;

     

  • new approaches;

     

  • New Zealand Commission of Inquiry -- 20 years later;

     

  • integration of medical, chiropractic and other complementary care.

New Zealand is a fascinating vacation destination, with spectacular scenery, a unique culture, friendly people and a clean, green environment.

The conference's basic registration fee is $NZ 495.00, which at press time is approximately $245 in U.S. dollars. Early bird registration closes on December 31, 1998. The conference fee will be $NZ 595.00 (approximately $295 in U.S. funds).
