William Meeker is a distinguished chiropractic researcher and author, with an extensive list of writing/presentation credits to his name. Dr. Meeker co-authors the research column in Dynamic Chiropractic, is the editor of the Journal of the Neuromusculoskeletal System, and serves on the editorial boards of JMPT, the Journal of Chiropractic Technique, and The Back Letter. Dr. Meeker's numerous public health affiliations includes service as the director of research for the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research. Dr. Meeker is principal investigator for the Consortial Center for Chiropractic Research (supported by the Office of Alternative Medicine); peer reviewer for the U.S. National Institutes of Health; a member of the peer review panel for the U.S. Agency for Health Care Policy and Research; and a member of the research and review advisory committee for the American Chiropractic Association. A 1982 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic-West, Dr. Meeker formerly served as assistant research professor and associate dean of research at Palmer West.
