Robert Cooperstein graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 1984 and has been a professor at Palmer Chiropractic College West since 1989. Dr. Cooperstein also serves as PCCW's administrative research coordinator and chairs the department of technique and management at the school.

Dr. Cooperstein maintains a regular column in Dynamic Chiropractic entitled "Chiropraxis" and has authored articles in many peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Chiropractic Education and the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics. He has also written two course textbooks: "Introduction to General Pathology" and "Chiropraxis."

In addition to his work at Palmer West, Dr. Cooperstein maintains a private chiropractic practice in Oakland and is a consultant on several of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) test committees.
