Chiropractic Pediatric Conference Slated for October in San Diego

The ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics will hold its annual conference October 20-22 in San Diego, California. The program will feature 14 speakers with extensive experience in pediatrics or expertise in a specialized field: Drs. Joan Fallon; Peter Fysh (Dynamic Chiropractic columnist of "Kids Need Chiropractic Too"; Maxine McMullen; Larry Webster; Claudia Anrig Howe; Sheila Laws; Wayne Zemelka; Doug Berry; Carol Phillips; Fred Barge; Tracy Barnes; William Cockburn; and David and Debra Levinson.

Topics covered will include:

  • protocols of care for common spinal problems

     

  • torticollis in the neonate and infant

     

  • clinical sessions on managing the care of children with handicaps or special needs

     

  • medical legal issues in pediatrics for the subluxation-based chiropractor

     

  • clinical applications of research in a pediatric practice
