The proposed merger of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards was approved by NBCE delegates and FCLB members at their respective annual meetings, held jointly in Atlanta, Ga., this year. Per the new bylaws, the new entity takes the NBCE name, with FCLB continuing as a department within NBCE. The federation will continue to enjoy Board of Directors representation on what will be a single, expanded board.

For those connected to the computer network, America Online, you'll be interested in the Chiropractic Professional Networking Forum (under the Health and Medical Chat Section) every Sunday, 9-10 p.m. (EST). The CPN Forum is an ongoing fixture on AOL; it's been around for almost a year now.
Drs. Bob Dubin and David Brady, initiators of the Forum, have seen it grow from less than 10 participants per week to over 300. With the input of many DCs the weekly chats are dedicated to topical discussions covering many interesting and challenging chiropractic topics: pediatrics; research issues; appropriateness of care issues; chiropractic graduates' dilemmas; where is the science in health care, e-mail etiquette, and many other timely topics.
