Draft of ICA's Clinical Guidelines on LineComments and Suggestions SoughtBy Editorial Staff The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) has posted a draft document of its Chiropractic Clinical Guidelines and Practice Parameters* on its website (www.chiropractic.org ) for review and comment by the chiropractic profession.(* Not to be confused with the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP), the group coordinating the updating of the Mercy Guidelines.) The draft for comment is the work of more than 50 people over the last two years. Dr. Gary Walsemann is the chairman of the ICA guidelines. The committee members are: Dr. Francis Corbin The ICA's objective of the comment and review period is to "gather objective input, new data and perspective" prior to the publication of a first edition. The intention is go beyond the assessments expressed by the ICA's self-selected group. It is the ICA's pledge to "review in detail and carefully consider the merits of all comments and to collect and make available a summary of information gathered in the comment period." The ICA hopes in particular to add data and references on which the recommendations are based, but invites written comments on any aspect of the guidelines.
