Spearheaded by burgeoning scientific and clinical research literature, psychedelics have reached a level of media coverage and popular interest that has not been seen for over half a century. By “psychedelics,” we are referring to the unique class of substances that includes psilocybin (the active compound found in so-called “magic mushrooms”), LSD, dimethyltryptamine (DMT), ayahuasca, 5-MeO-DMT, and mescaline – each of which occurs in the natural world (except for LSD, which is a semi-synthetic compound).
WFC / ACC Conference on Chiropractic Education: Call for Papers
Representatives of chiropractic educational institutions, chiropractic associations, individual doctors of chiropractic and others are invited to submit short summary papers (500-1,000 words) for presentation at the World Federation of Chiropractic / Association of Chiropractic Colleges Education Conference 2014: Chiropractic Education for a Changing Healthcare Environment. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel in Miami, Fla., Oct. 29 – Nov. 1, 2014.
Best submissions will be selected for oral (18) or poster (30) presentation. They should be submitted in one of the three subject categories: interdisciplinary education, clinical governance, and education, policy and research. For complete submission guidelines, click here.
